10 week old Mia Rose chose my next book for me. It could be a tough one emotionally, as a couple of chapters in I think part of the plot will take place in Changi Gaol where my Grandad was a POW.

As I was coming to the end of the latest Kate Mosse, I decided to treat myself to a few books by some of my favourite authors. Now, which to read first? 💕📚💕

I loved the original Languedoc trilogy so much that I persuaded my husband to Carcassonne on holiday. It was wonderful!
This book is set in some of the same locations as the original series, so there feels to be some continuation.
The characters are well written and I felt a strong empathy for the main character. Although the book starts a little slowly, the plot unfolds well & isn‘t predictable. I can‘t wait for the next book in 2020!

So excited to be starting to read this whilst taking the train through the Eurotunnel! We visited Carcassonne last summer after reading and loving the Labyrinth trilogy, so I‘m super excited about this one 😀

Another excellent novel from Jodi Picoult. I found that I could hardly put this book down. The characters were believable and you could really empathise with them. There were many twists and turns along the way and the reader was kept guessing right until the penultimate page. A fantastic read.

As new whippet owners we found this book very useful. There is lots of background information about the breed and some great tips on rearing your puppy. This isn't just a book you'd read once and then put back on the bookshelf, it's a book you can return to again and again to dip into as needed.
