This is a local book club pick- or i may have skipped over it. I‘m glad it was picked, but honestly it‘s more like reading an iteration of a retelling of a translated book. So not super original, but with some original components and fairly fast paced. I did enjoy it…. I would love to hear other opinions…
5feet.of.fury I really did like this book, I lovingly refer to it as ACOTAR with werewolves. Lmao 11h
Chrissyreadit @5feet.of.fury I could not put it down- but i would get thoughts in my head when it reminded me of things- but I love retellings and it was original enough if i look through that lens- does that make sense? Did you read the second book? (also i would totally recommend this to werewolf fans) 8h
5feet.of.fury @Chrissyreadit I did! I felt Book 2 got more unique, but maybe too over complicated for what it was, but I‘m going to keep reading whenever book 3 comes out 8h

Chrissyreadit @5feet.of.fury - I agree 2 is more unique- but a lot of different plots going on- and i will definitely read the next one- I‘m half way through the second book and also having strong feelings around the love triangle. It has made me put the book down a few times 🤣 7h
Chrissyreadit @5feet.of.fury did you have any thoughts on it? 7h
5feet.of.fury @Chrissyreadit I think I thought Callum was a dud early on and mostly ignored him lol 4h
Chrissyreadit @5feet.of.fury so you are #teamblake ❤️ I go back and forth with it- but now isn‘t Blake technically dead? i‘m sort of confused there. Also if night has his soul how are they mated? I just finished night prince and am very very curious about how she ties it together. I like how all the relationships are morally grey 🤣 3h
