Picture book rich in historical info. Images of Maccabees in battle are nice but accurate with weapons. We borrowed this from church Library to teach my son more about this holiday. Level of detail & illustrations make it more suitable to a child older than him-I‘d say ages 5-7. 4 stars. #holidaybooks #kidsbooks #religiousbooks #diversebooks

BestOfFates I sadly only know kids books (will try to think if I can come up with some thing for adults!) but Lailah's Lunchbox by Reem Faruqi about Ramadan & Going to Mecca about the Hajj by Na'ima B Robert (she's young adult and has lots of books if interested) & The Best Eid Ever by Asma Mobin-Uddin. 7y
