In honor of the upcoming holiday (Valentine‘s Day, not President‘s Day), my husband and I quizzed each other on our specific book preferences. Come see if this will all end in divorce: https://youtu.be/1KvnKe2iWw0

EadieB @Butterflyamore Very cute! I loved that video. I think you did well for only 2 years married. It will be 46 years of marriage on October 18 for my husband and me. These questions would be very easy for us as we know each other inside and out. I love Crime and Punishment too but my favorite of all time is Shadow of the Wind. I will have to check out Gift from the Sea. I love T. S. Elliot too. I read a lot of Jodi Picoult too. What is Giglio? (sp?) 4y
Suet624 This was adorable. Thank you for sharing. 4y

abookishbutterfly @EadieB I‘m not sure what you are referring to with Giglio. What was the context? Maybe I can figure it out. 4y
EadieB @Butterflyamore Question was, what was your favorite book when you were 17? 4y
abookishbutterfly @EadieB Oh! Geek Love! I guess we didn‘t annunciate well! 4y
EadieB @Butterflyamore Just said it fast and I didn‘t catch it. Thanks! 4y

Although it was challenging, I did manage to unhaul some books this month! If you want to know what they are and why I‘m unhauling them, you‘ll have to watch the video! 😉 https://youtu.be/11cAmX5FuxE

EadieB @Butterflyamore Good job! I think you made wise decisions. I looked up the books as you were speaking and I agree especially with The Girl Before as I gave that 1 star and decided it was a waste of time. I have gotten rid of 110 books in January. I posted them on paperbackswap.com and have been mailing them to those who have requested them. I also get a credit for each book and can order new books with my credits. 4y
EadieB @Butterflyamore I need to drastically downsize as my daughter and granddaughter are coming to live with us in late June from Virginia. Mostly I am getting rid of historical fiction as I mostly enjoy historical mystery and I don‘t find myself gravitating to the hist/fiction. It has been alleviating stress as I don‘t feel so overwhelmed by my excessive amount of books I own. I will continue each month to release about 100/month. (edited) 4y
abookishbutterfly @EadieB That‘s a really impressive number! I definitely understand your feelings on historical fiction, as I‘m more inclined to gravitate toward HF with some mystery in it but there are some exceptions. I‘ll have to check paperbackswap.com out. I use other platforms but that sounds really interesting! 4y
Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick I am moving some boxes of old books into storage for now and in cataloging them, I pulled some out that I am no longer interested in. As I read others, I'll be unhauling the ones I didn't love. 4y
