Pickpick

Vol. 2 is the only one I have been able to collect from this series. This is a true treasure, I love nearly every story within this volume.

The artwork is incredible, and the stories stir up different emotions. There are some sensitive subjects, yet they seem to be handled with care.

All the stories are insightful, and the ones that I do favorite most are the ones that inspire wonderment. 👇

AnnCrystal While not my favorite, favorite...the most surprising for me was, “journeys.“ I almost skipped reading this one because I rarely like “space“ stories. Glad I read. Amazing and profound.

Other favorites:

They Who Walk As Lightening
The Magic Of Wolverines
Water Spirits
Worst Bargain In Town
The Creator Tamosi.

This book is a reread for me.

Thank you for tagging me @dabbe.

The Toynbee Convector by Ray Bradbury. I never, actually, read the short story...I watched it as one of the episodes on his TV series, The Ray Bradbury Theater. The story's message was intriguing.

Mud Pony: A Traditional Skidi Pawnee Tale by Caron Lee Cohen. A kids book, yet has a short story feel.

Any of the stories from, Moonshot, indigenous comics collection Vol. 2 (only one I have been able to acquire).👇

AnnCrystal P.S. I just reread number 2 & 3 and will be posting reviews from a refreshed perspective once I am able 😉. 3mo
