Golden Boy: A Novel | Abigail Tarttelin

Pickpick

My ❤️ .. this book... Just finished this book so I am yet to gather my thoughts on this. But, this is such an incredibly important book about a topic that should get attention & more acceptance. Daniel's voice was like a breath of fresh air & Max? Oh! That truly golden boy! I wanted to hug him, fictional though he was..

Better late than never--October 2020 reads! A fairly short month, but still read some great ones. My favorite was the long-awaited One By One. The group-goes-on-vacation-then-people-start-dying trope is in right now and I love it! My least favorite was The Haunting of Hill House. This one wasn't that great for me until the huge plot twist ending. #october2020 #octoberreads #2020reads #monthlyreading #monthlyreads #goodreads #goodreadschallenge2020

September 2020 reads (a little late!). All of these were great in their own way, but my favorite was a three-way tie between The Silent Patient, One to Watch, and The Southern Book Club's Guide to Slaying Vampires!

Let it be known that 4/8 of the books were The Raven Cycle books that I listened to on audio while I stressed through moving selling/buying prep and I REGRET NOTHING #monthlyreading

hermyknee The Raven Cycle! I‘m on the Raven King now, but I‘m having a hard time finding time to read because mostly I‘m dead all the time. Is it good on audio? Is it the same??? I need my Raven King experience to be perfect. I love these books. 6y
Chessa @hermyknee So I listened to alllll of them and I REALLY like the narrator! He‘s a professional actor that you‘ve probably seen in movies/on TV and he does a really good job characterizing all the voices without making them silly. His Ronan is especially 👌. (edited) 6y
Clare-Dragonfly That sounds like a great choice! I hope it made moving easier! 6y
