#DreamingOfAColderClimate #readjanuary This is by the same artist I posted yesterday for the 👗 covers, but it seemed so perfect for today's prompt that I couldn't resist to reveal another example of this pop surrealist's strange, mythical worlds. Due to the lack of his typical wealth of details, Mark Ryden's Snow Yak Show isn't among my favorites, but one of the nymphets in this book is his most provocative in quite an imaginative way. #markryden

Hobbinol @ValerieAndBooks Oh you are such a good friend to bring that to my attention. I just so happened to have that on my radar and will be there. The non-subscription tickets don't go on sale until March 26th. Hope to get to 3 ballets & 4 plays. I've got all my tickets except for that ballet and another one by ABT. Many thanks! 7y

Hobbinol @DivineDiana Isn't it?! Despite all the whimsy in his paintings, they are extraordinarily well painted with a great eye turned on minuscule details like northern renaissance artists. 7y

ValerieAndBooks Yes and no. The dress does look like twisted version from a MA doll 😊. I had to do a bit of digging to find what I was thinking of: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blythe_(doll) My cousin's wife's niece does customization of these dolls and sells them to collectors. 7y
