I read this as my #bookspin but I still don‘t feel qualified to review it as it‘s the first manga I‘ve ever read. It was a kindle deal so I thought I‘d give it a try. I just don‘t think this was my type book, although I did find it interesting and I did finish it, so there‘s that!

Whelp, I figured out webcomics, & found a completed one! I used Tapas and read on my closing nights at work which is always slow. This one happens to have been published by Scholastic so I was able to compare the web & print versions and I loved the web version! Episodes came out weekly. It was interactive with the author/illustrator running contests, question & answers etc. It was really a lot of fun and I‘m looking for my next Tapas read!

I have 3 physical reads I definitely want to finish in this #20in4 Readathon. Run, Sailor Moon 1, and Dinoverse 5. Thanks for the challenge @Andrew65

In case I need reminded, manga is really not my favorite reading genre, but I completely understand the appeal. Just not for me!

This is the first in the well known Sailor Moon series, so provides the background on the rise of Sailor Moon and her allies, plus the mysterious Tuxedo Mask. The illustrations are fun. #BBRC #TeenAngst #ShojoManga

I enjoyed this graphic novel for the most part and loved the art style. My only complaint is that, despite being a comic book, it still seemed to do an awful lot of telling rather than showing.

I have so much affection for this book. It was my daughter‘s first #manga ever. She‘s no longer interested in manga so I‘ve given away her collection of books except for this one which I‘m saving (and actually reading now). I tried to get my nine-year-old grandson to read it, but he prefers to stick to Dragon Ball Z. 😂
