I would use this book at the beginning of the year to discuss that even though we may be different in some ways, we can use each other's strengths in order to learn how to work as a team. Some of us may like math or science, while others like to write or draw. Some of us may be quiet and want to work alone, and some work best with others. It's important to recognize and accept these differences in order to work as a team and be successful together

This picture book is one that contains a heartfelt message of the importance of self acceptance and embracing creativity. Throughout this book, many different elements of design are used to allow readers to see the beauty of individuality and creativity. For example, the usage of bright and pastel colors, different shapes and lines used to design the hot air balloons, and the amount of space or value each page has shows the capacity for creativity
