DGRachel Obviously, horror is not my go-to genre. 😂 I‘ve read two, bailed on one, and own two others. I didn‘t realize The Passage was considered horror. I‘m not sure if that makes me more or less likely to read it now. 🤔 6y

Reggie Broken Monsters by Lauren Beukes, Brother by Ania Ahlborn, and The Troop by Nick Cutter, but there‘s a lot of violence towards animals in the Troop so be forewarned. Those three had a couple of days impact when I read them. 6y

Bookzombie @BookishTrish Thanks! For scary/disturbing, Broken Monsters, The Troop, Heart Shaped Box, Ghost Road Blues, Hex, The Little Stranger and Bird Box. I really liked the others I read but they weren‘t as scary IMO. 6y
