With a couple weeks left, I will probably read more books, but 200 was a nice round figure, plus the link to this feature is now gone from the top of my #goodreads page and I had to search for it. Oh my #firstworldproblem #readingstats #myyearinbooks #2017reading All I can see is that I am pretty generous with my ratings. Or maybe, I mostly read 'good' books... either way works for me.
tomes4gnomes I find that my ratings skew high because I usually DNF books I‘m not enjoying and don‘t bother to rate them. 6y
Missusb Yeah, and GR doesn't seem to let you mark something as DNF, WITHOUT having to mark it as 'read'. Weird. There were 8 unrated books from me, and mostly they were ones I didn't finish. @tomes4gnomes 6y

tomes4gnomes @Missusb @Melissa_J I just change the status back to “want to read” and add them to my DNF shelf. They don‘t show up in the ratings or end of year totals. Whatever works! But I do wish GR had a clear option for this scenario. 6y
emtobiasz @tomes4gnomes @Melissa_J @Missusb You can create another shelf for DNF and go into the shelf settings to make it another mutually exclusive choice (like Read, Want To Read, and Currently Reading). I think you have to do it from desktop, though-- I can't find the option to adjust shelf settings on the app. I think if you add read dates it automatically moves books to "Read", though. #goodreadshacks 6y
