2/5 - Pan for me
Not my cup of tea... This story just didn't work for me. The end was quite disappointing too. Not fan of the writing style.
But I'm glad I've finished it on time for bookclub today, and I write this review while having coffee and strawberries with crème fraîche and a little bit of sugar, miam!
I‘m so grateful to be part of the @celadonbooks read together initiative as I discover new authors and book friends.
Yesterday, I received this book (Devil Is Fine) from @jverchwrites ( John Vercher). We will be reading his upcoming book “Three-Fifths” this November.
I can‘t wait to dive into this book and new author to me!
Many thanks to @jverchwrites for this lovely letter and #gifted book!
Saturday is #bookmail day. @kensingtonbooks sent these books to me and I can‘t be more excited to read them.
📚 The Changing Queen by Kimberly Bea.
📚 A Matter of Pedigree by Leslie Meier.
📚 Mrs. Claus and the Very Vicious Valentine by Liz Ireland.
📚 Murder in an Italian Piazza by Michael Falco.
Many thanks to @kensingtonbooks and the authors sending me these #gifted books.
Special thanks to Kensington Books for these #gifted books.
I just wanted to take a pic with a book and leaves 🍁
Happy Monday 🧡
The story follows two sisters, Zadie and Finn, as they try to find their mother, who disappeared five years ago.
Finn has the ability to see echoes of people's memories. She uses this gift to try and retrace their mother's steps using her pieces of her memory.
The mystery was very intriguing, but the part that bothers me is that Zadie has psychic gifts. Why did she not see her mother's disappearance coming?
Overall, this was a good read.
This was a great audiobook. Henry was the reader along with his wife, Stacey. It is incredible all the things that Henry Winkler has done in his life along with being inspiring.
Thanks to @macmillan.audio for this #gifted audiobook.
Book 195 of the year.
The MC in this book is named Emily, which is only one reason I #gifted it to my coworker Emily when she left for another job. #aboutabook
