pickThis was my most recent #couplebookclub read with my (now!) husband. At first I found the main character‘s teacher-speak quite annoying (I know a lot of teachers and most don‘t use the same language with their students as other adults), but the way the story unravels is quite clever and really keeps the pages turning wanting to know what would happen next. The science is mostly accessible and you really grow to care for the two MCs. 4.5 💫
