When arthritis is flaring so badly that a combination of muscle relaxers and trazodone doesn‘t do a damn thing, a good book comes in handy. >.> I started at 3% about an hour and a half ago.

BookwormM Hi I have recently been diagnosed with inflammatory arthritis and I have had an MRI today as they suspect I have Ankylosing Spondylitis (arthritis of the spine) so I appreciate how you feel. Hope you feel better soon and that the book takes you away from it all 6y

BookwormM Thanks do you have AS? I have already tested positive for the gene that causes it and I have the right symptoms with my back pain... 6y
athorne @BookwormM they didn‘t test for the gene, just the mri. I was found to have degenerated facet joints in my lower back and desiccated discs in my mid back. They haven‘t looked at my upper back yet. No AS fortunately. I have ulcerative colitis. (edited) 6y
dragondrool Hope you're feeling better soon. My fibro flaring has been scoffing at my meds, too. All the shuffling of snow up here in Montana's not much help, either. Reading is good distraction. 6y
