pickAwesome start to an awesome series. Overall this a a great book to start out the series with. Rowan and Citra were enjoyable and a lot of fun to follow. The only part that I was a little disappointed in was the ending. I think it undercut what the book was building too. It is with a very heavy heart that I have DNFed The Toll. I loved that this book was coming out and was sooo excited. However, with the 100 pages I read, I felt like it was a lot of info dumping and boring. I was struggling with wanting to read it, so with such debate I dnfed it.
