The premise is good, however it fell very flat. The action was not intense and I guessed what was going to happen mid way. It was still enjoyable though.

And Then You Were Gone kept me guessing until the end. While the beginning is a little slow hold on because the story picks up and is nonstop from there! R.J. Jacobs did an excellent job describing Emily's inner dialogue. As the story progressed I could feel her manic behavior while reading. It was like my own mind was racing along with her.

I loved this book! The mystery and intrigue are spellbinding and it's hard not to relate to Emily. The depiction of a positive role model for bipolar and mania and the murder mystery make this a book I will not forget. Look for this in May 2019!
