I‘d be lying if I said this book didn‘t keep me up last night. I had a hard time sleeping after finishing just the first 3 chapters. I knew it would be a hard one for me, but I‘ve wanted to read it for a while now.
Some of you may know that my husband is an underground miner. I often mention that he‘s gone for 2 weeks at a time. He was recently promoted to blaster, and I feel better knowing that such an important and dangerous position ⬇️
Clwojick ... is being filled by such a smart, level headed person. I know that the mine is in good hands with him being trained in one of the more serious positions. While I‘ve always known that his mine is always SAFTEY FIRST #TIL that some mines could care less about the safety of their miners. I want to continue with the book, my my heart is hurting. 😞 (edited) 4y

alisiakae I knew your spouse worked away from home for weeks at a time, but didn‘t know it was in a mine. Congrats on the promotion for him! I‘m sure you are a source of strength for him too. 💜 4y
