The Giver is a science fiction by Lois Lowry, that follows a young boy named Jonas, who lives in a "utopian but dystopian" society. Through all the twists and turns in this novel, children (and even adults) cannot help but think of how different their lives would be if they were set in this type of society. lburgos9 @Brookegamble I️ remember reading this book in middle school and doing a report on it. At first I️ didn‘t realize how important this book was but over time I‘ve realized that most students have read it at some point or another. Thanks for sharing, it definitely brought up old school memories in reading class. 6y
