Books I've Read: A Bibliophile's Journal | Deborah Needleman, Virginia Johnson

- Tons of rereading! Read somewhere that rereading familiar material is an anxiety impulse, so that makes sense.
- Just started the Lady Sherlock series on a friend's recommendation.
- Several for my dissertation! (It's DONE! 🎉)
- Read The Cat of Bubastes (1889) and several other classics for curriculum review project.
- The House by the Cerulean Sea made me cry over its sweetness and hopefulness!

#thisyearIhave

I thought I missed reading a book published before 1950 until I remembered I reread the Jane Austen books. Once again, Jane Austen saves the day. 💜😆

OrangeMooseReads What was the series you started? 3y
wanderinglynn @OrangeMooseReads I discovered Steve McHugh while browsing on Audible. I devoured his Hellequin Chronicles & then his Rebellion Chronicles. Urban fantasy that features various Norse, Greek, Roman, etc gods. I also stumbled upon Adam J. Wright‘s Harbinger P.I. Series on Kindle and enjoyed that one too. Also urban fantasy—fun, entertaining, & fast-paced. 3y
