This was my first experience with Andrew Smith, 8 years ago, and I‘ve loved every single one of his books since. #TBTReads

Thicker Than Water | Carla Jablonski

If I remember correctly, this book is about a girl who wants her new gothic boyfriend to turn her into a vampire so she can save her dying mother. It does not go well. #TBTReads

The Graveyard Book | Neil Gaiman

On this day 8 years ago, I read this book for the first time for a Young Adult Lit class. I fell in love from the first page and have reread it several times since. #TBTReads

Deer Life | Ron Sexsmith

I read this book before I realized that Ron Sexsmith was also a singer. And he‘s apparently touring with the Barenaked Ladies now. #TBTReads

DivineDiana That‘s interesting! 😀 5y

Before I Say Goodbye | Mary Higgins Clark

Has anyone else read so many Mary Higgins Clark books that all of the plots start to blur together after awhile? #TBTReads

Bookzombie I haven‘t read anything by her in years. I thought they became formulaic and I could figure it out. I have thought about trying some of her newer books though. 6y

This is another one of those books that I read in high school and enjoyed, but now I can‘t remember anything about it. #TBTReads

The Catcher in the Rye | J.D. Salinger

I had to read this my junior year of high school and I hated every second of it. I know some people love it, but it just wasn‘t for me. #TBTReads

Readergrrl I can‘t believe I‘m admitting to it, but same here. I found Holden to be insufferable and I despised him. There it‘s out. I expect my followers number to drop dramatically. 😉 6y
Lcsmcat I didn‘t read it until I was an adult, ok a grandmother, but I‘m with y‘all. I don‘t love this book. 6y
kyraleseberg I never figured out the hype over this book. Holden was whiney (like most teenagers) and I didn't find anything profound in what he whined about. 6y
Branwen Oh thank god! I thought I was the only one who felt this way! 😁 6y

I feel like this book was ahead of its time with the whole using an emoji on the cover trend. #TBTReads
