I don‘t know if those were the worst breakups in history, but definitely they ended very badly. Author takes us through the time, from Nero (he was the worst) to the modern times with the Debbie Reynolds and Eddie Fisher. This book is a nice combination of some facts from history, interesting personalities, few gossips and witty remarks. Perfect audiobook for boring households chores.

Y‘all, I really enjoyed this. I found it cruising my library‘s Overdrive. From the title and prologue, I thought it would be about the intersection of being gay and being a Christian, but he deftly wove in race, being from the South, and pop culture. He even touched on politics, see names for a certain world leader above. He hit the right note between serious and funny. 4.5⭐️

Weaponxgirl I really loved this book. I was really touched when he talked about his difficult relationship with his dad. 5y
Megabooks @Weaponxgirl Yes, and the intersection of his sexuality and his mom‘s religion. I‘m really glad he has a great group of friends around him and a solid sister! 5y
Weaponxgirl @Megabooks yes! I‘d recommend this book to almost anyone, so much to learn from and also it was so relatable. 5y
