Always enjoyed Lily King and this book is quite good. Just beginning part III, haven't hit the tear enducing part yet and I always cry reading books. Many times I tear up just finishing a book.

OMG, I‘m not sure I‘ll ever lose the tightness in my chest. The sobbing may be within my heart forever. Love is wonderful and awesome yet can it hurts so much. 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ @peaKnit an awesome book❣️

I‘ve never read Lily King before. This is today‘s reading. So far, so good.
This book argues that romantic partnership is a biological and evolutionary imperative and that our partners are responsible for our emotional well-being. It also only contemplates monogamous, heterosexual coupledom. That said, the descriptions of anxious attachment were generative for me, as was some of the advice on “secure” conflict resolution

Such a well written novel that took a turn I wasn't expecting. With a compelling plot and well-developed characters, I read this in one day.

What a book to end 2025 with. I am both crying and wanting to open it back up and start over from the beginning. Love and friendship and heartbreak and growing up and holding on and it was just so lovely.
