#Library30 Day 9- Before We Open. It‘s so serene. I love working the reference desk but there‘s days I want to be in technical services away from folks and just exist in the quiet of it all. #Library30 catch up Day 4- Shelfie. Our New Fiction shelves are face out which is honestly so great. As a Black woman, sometimes cover design with someone who looks like me is what catches my eye. #Library30 catch up Day 2- My work space. This is my desk: it is in shambles. Pile of books that need to be reviewed for damage and I can determine if I want to weed (take out of the collection) them and/or buy a new copy. Publications like Publisher‘s Weekly and Library Journal also featured along with badges from conferences I‘ve attended! #LibraryLife #NLW19

#Library30 catch up lol Day 1- My Library. Oak Lawn Public Library in Oak Lawn, IL is where I work as a Library Associate for Adult Fiction. Months away from finishing my MS/LIS so I‘ll have a new library home soon 🤞🏽

But this is just one library I work at! I intern for another library and when I need to go to a library near my home (in Chicago) I go to my alma mater DePaul University. My Chicago Branch is closes for renovations! #NLW19
