gregspuches I know nothing about this novel but often think characters are far more significant than plot. Could be personal taste, but so much happens inside and outside of us and through the relations/relationships we have with others and ourselves that it‘s far more compelling for me to read a story that focuses less on action than motivation. I‘d rather read how a character transforms than a plot itself. 6y
