I would probably give this and almost 4 ⭐️ rating. Not quite what I was expecting but still good. It is labeled as chick lit, fiction & contemporary. The title, to me, suggested more of a "spiritual, go with the flow, the universe will provide" kind of a theme. In reality I feel like it was somewhere in the middle of all of this. A midlife crisis leads to a journey (literally & figuratively) of self discovery, (cont in comments)...
I know there are a lot of mixed reviews on this one, but I really liked it. Arthur Less, about to turn 50, sets out to travel around the world to avoid the fact that the man he loves is about to marry someone else.

Not quite as moving as I was expecting based on other reviews but still enjoyable. I particularly liked the writing style where the author changed perspectives to subtly describe an event happening.
Good. Interesting concept but somehow it got lost and so the story just seemed so out of order and rationality. I felt sorry for the main character at first then as the story went on I hated her as actions throughout the story just went from bad to worse. The ending was as if the story just didn't happen it just felt too good for the actions leading up to it. Thank you for the free copy #Netgalley.

Quick, funny, and tenderhearted.
I‘m excited to see the author speak at a local library in a few weeks.
Another paint to audiobook! I didn‘t relate to this novel and didn‘t find the MC likable, in fact I found him annoying. There is some arrested development - my armchair diagnosis. 😜
Guess that‘s why I am not a Pulitzer judge. 🤣🤣
I‘m running a summer reading program for staff in my library system this year and it has been going really well. People are reading such a wide variety of titles! Here‘s a word cloud of the 641 titles submitted in the first 4 weeks of the program. The most frequently read books are Lessons in Chemistry, Hello Beautiful, The Ancient Magus‘ Bride, and Tsubasa.
