"Scarred" is a slow burn dark romance, which is a twist of "The Lion King" or "Hamlet". The main character & morally grey man is (you guessed it).... SCAR.
Now, Scar is my all time favourite villain. He is witty, sassy & pure evil. Tristan was ? but the book just missed something. I loved the Lion King references, but I found Sara bland. Her POV was tedious.
Finished up today.

so-soAnother dose of smut, but not as hearty a dose as Hooked. The story was fair, the lead characters were solid…the main man, Tristian, has a Loki vibe, which I was not mad at. The best part of this book is what goes down in the sheets, not the streets! Read the 300+ book in about 10 hours, so it‘s a fast read! Hooked was a bit better, in my opinion, as is Twisted, but I liked this book. Just know it‘s more like Playboy than it is Hemingway or Joyce.

pickI'm gonna have a hard time reading anything BUT this series, it's got me in a complete chokehold. The villain spin on fairy tales and the total 🔥🔥🔥 chemistry between the MCs is TOO GOOD. And the Lion King vibes?? I die. 🦁
