The Fifth Season is a refreshing take on epic fantasy that you should read ASAP. This book is dense and dark, though, so it may not be for everyone. Those who put in the time and dedication to understand the society and world Jemisin has created will be rewarded immensely. I'm not the only one who loves this book. It was recently awarded the Hugo for Best Novel!

read_diverse_books @Lucky_Ladee I hope you can get into it. The first several chapters are quite confusing, but eventually it all makes sense. Also, don't forget to read the Appendix in the back, which explains a lot of things. Lol I say this to everyone! 8y
