I think we might have some hidden Icelandic genes as our Xmas Eve always looks a lot like the Jolabokaflod tradition (if you don‘t know what this is, look here: http://www.countryliving.com/life/a46204/jolabokaflod-iceland-christmas-reading-... ) - lots of books for gifts and, once the kid is tucked in, reading time. This is me and my mom while the hubby is raiding the freezer for ice cream. 😁
