Part memoir, part manifesto, Sexton uses his personal story to take on the Patriarchy. An interesting and informative book about how toxic masculinity is harming everyone, including (maybe especially) men and it‘s what‘s fueling Trump supporters. #DBF2019

Enjoyed the Decatur Book Festival session with John McMahon and Brian Panowich (moderated by Charlie Bennett). Don‘t tell, but my Dad will be getting signed copies of both books for Christmas 🤫 #DBF2019

Loved seeing Nicole Dennis-Benn and Ocean Vuong at the Decatur Book Festival today!!!!

My book club just read Vuong‘s book and I suspect that since so many of us were in the room, Patsy will be a pick soon!

I completely fan-girled all over Julia Phillips today at the Decatur Book Festival #DBF2019. Her debut novel is my favorite book of 2019 so far. If you haven‘t read it, pick it up. She was a lovely as her writing. 💕📚

BookMaven9 One of my favorites as well 5y

Another stellar year for the Decatur Book Fair. Visited one of my favorite booths and renewed my subscription for the Georgia Review. Also got to see my kids perform with their Capoeria group on one of the event stages. Beautiful weather surrounded by bookish people. Good times all around. #dbf2019

I‘m realizing that I saw lots of non-fiction authors today. Never fear, tomorrow‘s plans include lots of novels!!

Carol Anderson was AMAZING. And so dang smart. Loved this book and the talk just made me want to re read it!! #DBF2019

Hooked_on_books I am SO envious. I thought this book was fantastic. I‘m not at all surprised that she‘s amazing. 5y
