“You‘re wrong... Loneliness is not about how many people you have around. It‘s about whether or not you feel connected. Whether or not you‘re able to be yourself.”

Ninth House | Leigh Bardugo

Pickpick

This was FUN! I enjoyed this book so much more than I originally anticipated - which made this quick read even better. Bardugo is a master of character- and world-building and does not disappoint her fans or first time readers with her first step away from the young adult genre. I highly recommend for any fantasy / murder-mystery fan out there! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 #bookswithbohemianyogini

Memory Police | Yoko Ogawa
post image
Pickpick

A must read for dystopian lovers, especially if you enjoy a plot that lingers after you‘re done. Ogawa‘s writing style is simplistic & soft, adding to the eeriness of this story about memory-loss brought on by the authoritarian government & enforced by The Memory Police. We watch as the main character loses memory of mundane & personal items, & how the loss of memories impacts the community & individuals on the island. #bookswithbohemianyogini
