Yay - it‘s Friday! Which for me means going to have a chat with the man at the post office, who always wants a Litsy #jb conversation before he sells me the stamps! I have to allow extra time now, because it‘s never quick!

BookaholicNatty @Mitch I love this! My post man is starting to do the same! Every time I come in with boxes he knows it‘s media mail and asks what new friends I have met this week. Another customer while waiting in line saw #Litsy on my letters and boxes and asked what I was reading and then shared like 4 recommendations with me. She even wrote them down on a scrap piece of paper and gave it to me! #Litsylove is contagious! 😍😍❤️📚 (edited) 6y

Kaye So glad your mailman is getting into the Litsy community in his own way. Pretty cute than an idea as simple as writing a letter has turned into something so much more. I guess it‘s because when I grew up there weren‘t computers , our phones were the heavy clunky ones that hooked into your wall, and talking to people in person was common, but if far away, you wrote letters. Nice to have some things in life go backwards instead of forwards. 😊 6y

Kaye So true, Mitch. I‘ve found, as you get older, your STUFF is of little importance. People are important. Saying something kind may make a stranger‘s day better. Doing a nice deed for someone just because. There are also times where we need to take a stand and speak up , either for ourselves or someone else unable to do so. It‘s those things that we leave as an imprint we were here. Not our STUFF. The people we leave an imprint on. (edited) 6y
