TheKidUpstairs Looks cute! 3y
maich @TheKidUpstairs They are cute and powerful, stories with taboo themes, teens drama, and family problems. So much than just romance. Especially Habits and Rules. 3y

Dean is a baseball player who's lost his ability to pitch, and wants to go somewhere quiet for awhile so he'll be left alone, so he rents the extra room in Evvie's house.

Wait Till Next Year | Doris Kearns Goodwin

I love baseball even though as a lifelong Atlanta fan I say wait til next year a lot. (It‘s been a long time since that WS win!) I read this by presidential historian Doris Kearns Goodwin year ago but I remember enjoying it. It‘s about her childhood love of the Brooklyn Dodgers. #Ballgame #LitsySpringBreak

TheKidUpstairs I had no idea she'd written about baseball. Totally stacked! 3y
MallenNC @TheKidUpstairs Yes! She‘s a big fan. This was good. 3y

I‘m not into sports that much, but this was a great book and movie about a homeless, black teen in Memphis TN taken in by a couple transforming everyone‘s life. He went on to play football at Ole Miss in Mississippi and then to play with the Baltimore Ravens. It‘s a very heartwarming and awesome true account of Michael Oher‘s life.

Elizabeth2 As a proud Ravens fan, I love Michael Oher! I‘ve never read the book, but we watched the movie. Such an inspiration. 💜🖤 3y

I gave this to my sister for Christmas in hopes that one day we can travel again and check out a new to us ballpark. Meanwhile maybe we‘ll get to see a #ballgame in person closer to home.

Book not in database

TheKidUpstairs Love it! Do you have a favourite ball park you've visited? 3y
Susanita @TheKidUpstairs I‘m partial to my home park, Nationals Park, but of the ones I‘ve visited I liked PNC Park in Pittsburgh best. 3y

I enjoy baseball, one of the few professional sports I like to watch and attend games but never have I ever read a book about baseball. This one looks interesting.

#LitsySpringBreak Day 10: As a young girl, Mary Garber was already involved in sports, thanks to her father who taught his daughters the fundamentals of #BallGame(s). This is a story that disarmed me completely. I am not sure if it was because of Miss Mary‘s miniature size, or her quiet courage in simply going about her work the best way she could with patience and persistence.
