Avanders @BethM I can see why… I‘ve actually only read one other by him, and haven‘t yet finished it (Lamb)… but my sister loves him so I‘ve been meaning to give it another go for years…. With this one, there was a definite hump to get over for me… maybe they‘re all like that? But it‘s great once you get past the insistent “schtick”… 2y
