Aimeesue I went to school in Amherst and have been wracking my brain trying to figure out where that statue is because I couldn‘t place it. Turns out it‘s in South Carolina! That explains why I couldn‘t remember where it was 😂 (It‘s gorgeous, and is by Jane Dedecker. Her mother copied ED‘s dress (displayed in her home/museum) for her model.) 4mo

Aimeesue @vivastory It‘s a very cool experience. I did the ED museum, Melville‘s Arrowhead, and Edith Wharton‘s The Mount on one of my last trips home, even though I‘d been to them at various times through school. It was fun to do them all together. 4mo
vivastory @Aimeesue I have all 3 on my to do list, esp. Dickinson Museum & Melville's Arrowhead, Moby Dick is one of my favorite books of all-time. 💙 4mo
