I liked this series. It was a quick read. I was disappointed in a relationship that the author didn't really explore. I thought it would be necessary but other than that I really enjoyed it. I was surprised to find out there's only going to be two books in this series.

Fast-paced and wrapped up Reign of Shadows well. Got a little bit Selection-y in the middle with some royal drama and I was worried we had lost the plot but it refocused pretty well by the end.

My friend and I made the drive up to Parnassus Bookstore in Nashville tonight and saw Sophie Jordan and Victoria Aveyard. Great program and nice showing. Both authors were wonderful. A+ event.

mom2bugnbee @melrailey The librarian at my girls' school is one of the founders of SEYA! My girls will get to go to the student-only day on Friday, & then we'll go back on Saturday & will likely volunteer as well. š We had an amazing time last year. 7y
