Beneath the Skin is a gripping psychological thriller by the Sunday Times Top Ten bestselling author, Nicci French 'Nicci French's sophisticated, compassionate and gripping crime novels stand head and shoulders above the competition' Sophie Hannah *** Zoe, Jennifer and Nadia are three women with nothing in common. Except for the man who wants to kill them. He sends them terrifying letters, full of the intimate details of their lives - and promises that he will bring those lives to a violent, horrible end. But not before he has enjoyed himself. Invisible and apparently unstoppable, he delights in watching the women suffer, thrilled by his power to leave them utterly helpless, alone in their terror and confusion. Except they're not all as helpless as he thinks . . . *** Praise for Nicci French: 'French leads the field' Sunday Express 'Brilliantly crafted . . . masterly control of suspense' Daily Mirror 'Tense, frightening, gripping' Easy Living 'Dark, nerve-tingling and addictive' Daily Express

@EadieB and @Andrew65 Have you read all their stand alones? I was wondering if we could do that after we‘re sadly done with Follett.

EadieB @Tove_Reads I‘ve read some but not all. I know @Andrew65 has read quite a few. (edited) 4y
Andrew65 @EadieB I‘ve read most of them but will follow whatever you two do. 4y
Tove_Reads @EadieB @andrew65 Would there be another interesting author? I have most of the Nicci French books at home, but have only read a few plus Frieda. 4y

EadieB @Tove_Reads I've got all of them here at my house too! @Andrew65 4y
EadieB @Tove_Reads @Andrew65 I'm getting ready to read some old-time authors such as: Patricia Moyes, Patricia Wentworth, Margary Allingham, Catherine Aird, Charlotte Armstrong, Robert Barnard, Ken Bruen. Have you heard or read any of these authors? 4y
Tove_Reads @Eadieb I think I‘ve checked if my library has them and it looked bad. I‘ll check tomorrow again. You‘d think they would have one or two of the authors. 4y
Andrew65 @Tove_Reads @EadieB I‘m not a great fan of the old-time authors but read one or two of Margery Allingham‘s books. 4y
EadieB @Andrew65 I have collected them for awhile and need to read them soon. I'm working hard downsizing and only keeping books that my library does not have a copy. @Tove_Reads 4y
Tove_Reads @andrew65 Can you check which ones you haven‘t read yet? Let us know when you are ready to read them? @EadieB and I can read the others together 4y
Andrew65 @Tove_Reads I‘d be happy to read them again, loved the books. Only issue would be if I can‘t get hold of them as in main don‘t keep books after I read them. I reread some Maeve Binchy books and enjoyed the experience. @EadieB 4y
Tove_Reads @EadieB @andrew65 Cool! Let‘s do it! I should now own the ones my library doesn‘t have. Because they are stand alones it doesn‘t matter in which order we read them. Can you get some as ebooks? 4y
Tove_Reads @andrew65 Internet archive has at least some of them 4y

Tove_Reads @Andrew65 @EadieB I can get hold of them all. A few I‘ll have to read as translated versions, but what can I do... Anyway, when do you want to start? Any particular order? 4y
EadieB @Tove_Reads I‘m still finishing Triple and the M. scandal so August after I‘m finished with Follett in July. @Andrew65 4y
Tove_Reads @EadieB Will start M this/next week. Sadly, can‘t get hold of Amok, Heist of the Century or Capricorn one (or the 3 he published in 74 and The Bear Raid). August works! @andrew65 4y
Andrew65 @Tove_Reads August works for me too. 😊 @EadieB 4y
