so-soI located this book as I checked the library catalog for the subject of “equations.” The back of the book notes “Her brains plus His brawn equals a study in seduction.” A laugh out loud synopsis and an appealing cover drew me but some grammatical errors and weak plot did not let it live up to my first impression. A light read at best.
I‘m only 42 pages in and already I am IN LOVE with Lady Claire... she‘s extremely relatable to me as I, growing up, tended to intellectually outpace a lot of the guys in my classes. PLUS, it‘s an extremely topical read what with the growing importance and focus on recognizing that women are (and have ALWAYS been) awesome!!! 😄😄😄
Just started this but I'm seeing similarities to Pygmalion/My Fair Lady. Is that what She's All That was about? I haven't watched it.

pickThis was really fun! I liked that the characters were strong and had good chemistry. The ending is exactly as it should be and the flow of the story was superb. I'm curious as to what happened to Mowbray and Arabella. Hopefully more to do with them comes to light in later novels.

pickI absolutely ADORED this book! Maya Rodale is completely irreverent, hilarious, and captivating. This novel is based on the hit 90s comedy, She's All That, and is spot on! (Well, this ending is so much more satisfying) this is the latest in her Cavendish series following a group of 4 American siblings who inherited a dukedom. Funny, sweet, and an all around fab read! Go grab a copy!!!!

panIt makes me really sad to say this because I love The Tattooed Duke by this author.... but holy crap I hated this one. It drove me crazy. It's like a weird mash-up of She's All That and Grease, in a horrible way. Bleh.
