Listened to the audiobook...the narration was good and I liked seeing more of Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan in action together. But overall, the plot was pretty simple, I wasn't too attached to any of the side characters, and this felt like....a pretty basic Star Wars book compared to others.
I've enjoyed two of James Luceno's other Star Wars works far more. Decent, but not a must-read.
TieDyeDude I feel like I read this when it came out, but I wasn't tracking my reading as much back then. Catalyst is definitely my favorite of his Star Wars books. 1mo
RoyallyReading @TieDyeDude I really liked Catalyst. Rogue One is one of my favorite entries of the films, so Catalyst did a lot of good things for me 😊 I think that's partly why I wasn't as keen on Cloak on Deception, comparatively. 1mo
