Every early December in Silver Springs, Vermont, anonymous holiday cards arrive like clockwork: glittering envelopes hiding unkind messages.
And Laura Evans discovers her boss, coworker, and friend among the targets. There’s never a season where that behavior is acceptable, but especially at this time of year.
Together with her landlady Evelyn and friend Jasmine, they enlist the Maplewood Crafters Club to help find the culprit. Between serving peppermint hot chocolate and gingerbread cookies at the café, Laura and her friends trace writing styles, suspicious postal drops, and townspeople with a distaste for the season.
