LeahBergen This was such a good follow up to The Crimson Petal! ❤️ 5y
veritysalter @LeahBergen I loved The Crimson Petal and The White, the TV version wasn‘t such a disappointment. I loved the power given to Sugar in the book. Where in the world are you and did you see it? (edited) 5y

After my library sale haul, I cleaned off my shelves for trade at the used bookstore. I think I got a pretty nice #bookhaul !

I‘m now collecting the Barnes and Noble editions of Jane Austen so I can have a matching set. It was unplanned but after finding three of them at the library sale, I had to stay consistent.

A nice end-cap to The Crimson Petal and the White.

LeahBergen I thought so, too! 8y
JackieSmith Is it also written in second person? My book club & I figured out that is why we all hated The Crimson Petal & the White. 8y
quirkyreader I hope to get to this one soon. I have to get it as an inter-library loan. 🐸🐙 8y
ZoeyPeacock @JackieSmith TCPATW is a historical novel with post-modern elements. Breaking the fourth wall with narration, etc. 8y
JackieSmith @ZoeyPeacock I bet I'd really like that, actually. Thanks for reading it first! 👍 8y

Tadkins I wish I had known about this book. I loved CPATW. I read it about 10 yrs ago. 8y
ZoeyPeacock @tadkins It ties of some loose ends that were driving me crazy. 8y

I loved "The Crimson Petal and the White" when I read it this summer. So now I'm getting back into the world of Sugar and the rest of the characters with this collection of short stories ?
