The ending to this missing person mystery is memorable. It caught me completely off guard. It is an intriguing detective story with two amateur sleuths who team up to find out what happened when their sisters disappeared 7 years ago. I found the characters to be completely unlikable, yet I really liked the book.

Dang this book was good! You‘ve got two sisters - one that seems to have her act together and our main character who is seriously floundering - both of which had their sisters mysteriously disappear seven years ago from the side of the road within a few weeks of each other. The journey these two go on is wild and I kept changing my mind on what really happened. Let me tell you I could never have guessed the truth! Crazy ending! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

Stories about sisters are perfect to explore complex relationships & emotions. Author/crime podcaster 𝐀𝐬𝐡𝐥𝐞𝐲 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐬' 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐟 is the story of 2 young women who work together to discover the fate of their sisters who simply 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘥 years earlier. Can they find conclusive evidence that law enforcement overlooked? The fast-paced mystery kept me guessing! ⭐⭐ ⭐ ⭐

An overall solid mystery/thriller with a good twist ending. Well crafted, but with an unlikable main character. 4⭐️

I wanted to like this book more, but there‘s just something off about Nic. She‘s dysfunctional, for sure, but she‘s also not always a believable character. There were times when she was misreading a situation, but it didn‘t ring true. I didn‘t believe that that‘s what her character would think. The ending is a weird twist, but it was unsatisfying. It was entertaining, but not one of my favorites. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Well this book definitely didn‘t turn out how I thought it would starting out but that‘s a good thing bc I was genuinely surprised & everything ended up fitting together. The audio was great! & it was only 8 hours so I went through it quickly. I kept wanting to listen to it. Now I‘m eager to read her first book. If you‘re into mysteries, thrillers, and even true crime, this book is for you! If you‘re close to your sister then it‘s a good read too!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
Woah, this book was so good and twisty!!! I loved her first book but this one was even better…and I definitely recommend for all you crime junkies out there😱

•Honestly, this has everything a good missing person mystery thriller needs, and I might‘ve rated it even higher if I weren‘t in such a funk lately. Also, I‘m feeling fairly burned out on Saskia Maarleveld‘s narration lately; it feels like she‘s narrating everything.

This one is a no for me. I really liked this authors last book, but this one fell super flat. The characters were all annoying and one dimensional. Everything that needed to be explained was that the MC was drunk... I hate that. It's such a cop out for bad writing. The twist just really felt lazy. Unfortunate 1/5

Twisty. Not sure if I love or hate having local towns as part of the settings in Ashley Flowers titles- first Wakarusa and now Osceola and Mishawaka. I know I would feel differently if these were romcoms and not suspense but...
This was a great second title from this author. It definitely kept me guessing until the very end.

Audio ALC while baking homemade brown sugar pop tarts. I always worry for a debut authors follow up but it's good so far and so are the smells in my kitchen!
