Skippyjon Jones in Mummy Trouble
Skippyjon Jones in Mummy Trouble | Judy Schachner
3 posts | 8 read
El Skippito is back! Avoiding a lecture from Mama Junebug, the kitty boy slips into his closet . . . and finds himself in ancient Egypt. His doggy pals, Los Chimichangos, want to visit the Under Mundo—the underworld— where mummitos rest in peas. But they need El Skippito's brains and courage to answer the riddle of theFinx and enter the mummy's tomb. Our hero is up to the task, and he's in for another grand and whirlwind adventure. Full of Judy Schachner's rollicking wordplay and bold, imaginative illustrations, Skippy's latest outsize outing will tickle the funny bones and warm the hearts of his many amigos.

Skippyjon Jones in Mummy Trouble is a animal fantasy picture book written and illustrated by Judy Schachner. This story is about a Siamese Cat that goes on an adventure with his siblings into ancient Egypt. I like how she incorporates Spanish words into the story. Preparing for my first #SunsetStoryTime of this Fall before I head into work. We are going to read "...In Mummy Trouble" and make our own cat mummy! Crossfit was harder this morning after the Labor Day festivities, so a fruit smoothie has been a good pick-me- up in the afternoon/ evening while working #BookandDrink Happy #NationalReadABookDay Littens!
