I enjoyed the different time lines especially Eva and Pilar‘s stories. Margo and Luke did not capture me at all, their story and dialogue did not hold with the rest of the story.

Another winning story from Chanel Cleeton. She is an auto-buy for me. This one had a story within a story and though it took a while to get immersed, I am always intrigued. This had more mystery than usual and I enjoyed that a lot.

A book about a book. What could be better? Not much. This one is told in three timelines by three women. They are very different and at the same time so alike. How this book touches each woman is woven perfectly into this story. From start to finish I was captured.

I enjoyed the history of Cuba, and having to sneak books out, but there was just too much going on. Triple timelines feel overkill.
