I was a big fan of Kurt Vonnegut when I was in my teens. This Kilgore Trout pseudonymous fluff (written by Philip José Farmer) is a 1976 edition.

#Throwbackthursday and yet another hideous vintage Scifi book cover to astonish and titillate you 😁 This one is from 1983 and is one of my favourite hideous covers - I mean just look at it! And is it just me, or does that satellite look a bit like a Pokeball?

Riveted_Reader_Melissa Yes it does! 8y

manifestsanity Kilgore Trout??? Vonnegut?!? Wha?!? 8y
StaceyKondla @manifestsanity Philip Jose Farmer actually wrote as the fictional Kilgore Trout that Vonnegut invented in Slaughterhouse 5. Interesting concept that went well until Farmer and Vonnegut had a falling out 8y
manifestsanity @StaceyKondla I had no idea. How fascinating. Thanks! 8y
