The first one in this series, The Perfect Rake, was wonderful so I was hoping this would be just as good as. There wasn't a lot of convincing conflict, the Hungarian side character was a horrifying mishmash of assorted Eastern European stereotypes (none of them actually Hungarian) which grated me as an actual Hungarian, but it was the scenes of pretty dubious consent in the secondary romance that really put me off.
