111/150 This was okay, but not what I was looking for in a history of WWI. I wanted to know about the planes, the aerial combat, what it felt like to be in one of those flimsy crafts fighting for your life. This is more a character study of the men who volunteered to fight for France while the US was still neutral. I didn't learn much that I didn't already know about the Lafayette Escadrill.
