Snow Shark
Snow Shark | Brian Berry
5 posts | 3 read | 1 to read
It was supposed to be a family vacation. The celebration of a birthday. A weekend of skiing and smiles. But something haunts the slopes, hunts beneath the snow. No longer does it require the sea, no longer the depths of dark waves. Conditioned for land, a winter terror is unleashed upon the guests who inhabit the resort of White Cap Lodge. Slopes will run red, people will scream, and out there in the snow, no man, no woman, nor child, is safe from the jaws of:
It is no longer the sea you have to fear.

Another very entertaining read by Brian G. Berry.

It's completely crazy but that's what I love about the Snow Shark novels and the author's style.

This particular one brought me enjoyment.

Looking forward to reading more from this author.

Mehso-so

This one rambled on too much with unnecessary descriptions and information.

I think I know why the author did that though, for filler.

Instead, he should have just written clever dialogue or just made it shorter.

All that stuff aside though, there were some entertaining and gory parts.

The shark was f#cking terrifying, so savage!

Overall, it could have used better editing.

tonymp Awwww. I was hoping someone else would like it as much as I did. I understand your critique, though. I think I liked it because I was pleasantly surprised. For a self-published story just written for the heck of it, the writing was not half bad. The next one in the series, OGRE, is a lot shorter. I think today I'm going to finish off the series. Pulp never tires me! 14mo
TheNeverendingTBR @tonymp It never tires me either, but I only provide honest reviews. 14mo
tonymp @TheNeverendingTBR I'm glad that you do. I also review things honestly. Reviews are subjective and I like different opinions. People, for example, see filler where others see important descriptions for ambience, etc. I didn't see any filler, you did. I think that's cool. For me, sometimes a plot takes place in the 1980s but there's no flavor. Anyway, I'm not disappointed in your opinion. I'm just hopeful someone likes it as I have. (edited) 14mo
