I was so hesitant to open this latest work from MHN, but she never fails to speak to me & connect directly to my heart & life with such beauty.
YAOJB was no exception.
I needed a light read because I‘m going through some heavy things, this work of poetry had both the heavy and light.
Depth that can only be felt by sitting with it.
If you‘re in a season of big changes & need a gentle, compassionate approach, I highly recommend it.

As long as we are living, do things ever really come completely full circle? Or are these just brief moments for us?

What a beautiful bigger picture question!

Forgiving ourselves is recognizing that feelings and attitudes towards ourselves don‘t have permanent shapes, and like clay, we are allowed to change the shape of our pasts into something new, beautiful, magnificent, and maybe even purposeful.

I get to. Not I have to.

Yes and. It‘s all of the above and more. I think I can embrace the process if it‘s allowed to be all of these things.

Right in the feels!

The winds of doubt blow fast around you. You have to learn to breathe again at higher altitudes. The terrain makes you question the strength of your spine, lungs and heart. But you will come down the other side realizing you were stronger than you thought you were.

I cannot tell you what lies ahead but I can tell you: As long as you are breathing, you are only just beginning.

Trust me, I know the future can be frightening. It‘s all unknown. But I want us to embrace the miracle of moving forward—to plan ahead and to dream of what goodness could be. To choose to be present in each chapter of the journey—yes, even the difficult moments. Because there is so much learned from every new adventure, even the parts we‘d rather forget.

I usually do not read books that a person could just start in the middle of and pick up anywhere and it would be fine…but I did that yesterday with this one to try to encourage a friend, and this is what I found.
