This is a beautiful book. The watercolor illustrations are dreamy but match each dragon perfectly. The book just has characters telling us about what types of dragons they have, much like a class of kids would tell someone about their dogs.

pickTell me a dragon remains one of my favorite illustrated children's books. It's so bright and colorful, the images are so beautiful, and the story is simple yet magical. If you haven't read this book I would highly suggest finding a way to get your hands on it.

Book challenge day 24 - Favorite fantastical beast
For me it was pretty hard to narrow this down to a favorite so I chose a few favorites. I love phoenixes, how can you not love dragons? Unicorns are fantastic and griffins are also pretty amazing... as are sphinxes. Honestly I love them all 😍

pickWe rented this from the library, I read through it once, and promptly bought myself a copy. This book is gorgeous!!! 😍each page is filled with an amazing dragon illustration and a little bit about said dragon- One likes eating flowers and breath always smells like roses, another cuddles it's child at night and protects against nightmares. The descriptions are short and the book is beautiful! I'm so in love.
