A celebration of the magical bonds that unite children! When her two big sisters embark on an adventure to explore a mysterious island, the youngest one doesn't want to be left behind. What shines through from this funny story's gut-wrenchingly scary beginning ("There was a terrible plane crash!") to its sweet and satisfying ending is LINIERS's admiration for the imaginative powers of childhood.

Wildflowers by Liniers brings to life the adventures of three little girls. Take a journey into imagination when a little girl and her two big sisters explore a mysterious island. This book is a great way to encourage creativity and imaginative thinking. This book could connect to so many different extension activities and it is a level two toon book.

This book uses different comic box layouts to create the story of two little girls going on an imaginary adventure. They use different sizes of fonts to create levels of voices and text bubbles to create dialogue. They often try to sound out words throughout their story which is very amusing to see put into writing.

I love the way this book portrays how you can create a whole world from your imagination. I also like how it challenges the idea of what seems possible, and showing that in your imagination anything is possible.

Published in 2021. This book tells a story of three girls whose imagination and creativity takes them through a wild adventure. They find themselves lost in a jungle following a plane crash. As they navigate through the jungle they come across some wildflowers, which speak to them. Their adventure continues through the jungle and they meet a pocket gorilla and encounter and fight a dragon

This story gave me Alice In Wonderland vibes as it told the story of the adventure that the three girls told as they played in their backyard.

Wildflowers: A Took Book by Liniers is a wonderful graphic novel that talks about a wonderful adventure that three little girls go on a mysterious island. This island is full of dragons, tiny gorillas, wild flowers, and popcorn coming from the sky. I loved seeing how the three girls used their imaginations to tell a story and play to the best of their abilities.

This story is cute for young readers and easy to follow. Not every box has words in it which is appealing to young readers. The illustrations are very detailed with lines and colors.

“Only reality can kill a dragon”
I would love this quote in my room! So true, only reality can kill many things! Then it ends the story with the dragon disappearing because the reality of mom yelling dinner is ready sets in. This reminds me of my cousins and i, we fell into a story when we played and did not come out until someone outside the story came in!

This book is adorable!! A comic about these girls who see talking flowers and tiny gorillas and many magical/mythical things and their adventure continues until they are called to dinner by their mom. Then it shows the gorilla toy and all the things from their story in their yard. They used their imagination to create a fun little story! I LOVED this comic!

I love toon books. They make easy readers in graphic novel format and this book does not disappoint. A trio of sisters crash a plane on a deserted island. But the island is not as deserted as they think it is. This story is simple but wonderful, and the illustrations are gorgeous.
